Elijah Blake,

Elijah L. Blake Sr. age 50 of Alliance, died at 4:24 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2004 at Alliance Community Hospital.
Mr. Blake was born March 10, 1953 in Alliance to Jack J. and Ruth (Baddeley) Blake Sr. and lived all of his life in Alliance.
Survivors include two daughters, Marjorie A. Blake Jr. of Alliance, and Angela M. Black of Alliance, two sons, Elijah Lee Blake Jr., of Beloit, and Troy Lee Blake of Sebring, his mother, Ruth Blake of Alliance, two brothers, Jack Blake Jr. of Alliance, and Dwaine Blake Sr. of Alliance, two sisters, Roberta Kidd of Damascus, and Sonya Hawkins, of Paradise Lake, several nieces and nephews and twelve grandchildren.
Mr. Blake was preceded in death by his father Jack in 2003, one grandson Joshua Blake in 1989, one brother, Rickey Lewis Blake in 1988, and his former wife Marjorie A. Blake, who died in 2003.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
