Elizabeth P. Andrisani

Elizabeth P. Andrisani, age 89, passed away on August 18, 2024. 

She was born on January 8, 1935, in Alliance, to Peter J. and Theresa (Marietti) Osco.

Elizabeth graduated from Alliance High School. She started Elizabeth’s Dress Shop in Alliance, Salem, and Canton with her husband, Joseph. Elizabeth also owned The Dressing Room and the Record Shed in Alliance. She was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and a former President of the Downtown Association of Businesses. Elizabeth enjoyed playing cards and doing crossword puzzles. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Doug Strata, Periann Kirk, and Gary (Sherry) Strata; grandchildren, Kyle (Tori), Katie (Shane), Eric, Tracy (Frank), Derek, Nick, Trevor and Michelle (Jacob); great-grandchildren, Andrew, Ellie, Hayes, Tenley, Josie, Shalyn, Dougie, Isiah, Serenity, Amirah, Nova, Anna, Jacob and Leah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph; her first husband, Michael Strata; son, Michael Anthony Strata; grandson, Marc Strata; close friend, William O’Donnel; and son-in-law, Guy Kirk.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Saturday, August 24th from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
