Elizabeth (Beth) Wheeler, age 60, of Sebring, Ohio, was reunited with her loved ones in heaven on March 6, 2015.
She was born August 24, 1954 in Alliance, Ohio, to Raymond and Audrey (Abbott) Whitacre.
Her joys in life were many. She cherished family and friends, especially her grandchildren, loved celebrating the holidays, cooking and baking for everyone, gardening, watching birds in the midst of nature's landscape, and the outdoors. She treasured the company of a good friend, especially over a good cup of coffee.
She is survived by her children, Amy (John) Grilz of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, Lauren Wheeler and her fiancé (Gary Dye) of North Benton, and Justin (Brian Rauscher) Wheeler of LaFayette, Colorado; grandchildren, Zachary, Ethan, Mary Kate, Madelynn and Evelyn; sister Rayetta (Steve) Rouane of Columbus, Montana; brother James Whitacre of Alliance; nieces, Stacey and Stephanie; and nephews, Jeremiah, Patrick and Jameson. She is also survived by her lifelong friends, Susie Perkins, Nancy McCartney, Chuck Howe and Gary Carr.
A private family remembrance will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Monday, March 9th. Interment will be at Salem Grandview Cemetery in Salem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Sebring Public Library to honor her lifelong love of reading.
