Ella M. (Evers) Winwood

Ella M. (Evers) Winwood, age 90, of Alliance, passed away at 6:50 p.m., Monday, March 30, 2015, at McCrea Manor.
She was born November 17, 1924, in Marlboro Township, to Perl and Mamie (Fetty) Villars.
A graduate of Marlboro Grade School, Ella attended Marlboro High School, and was a former member of the First Assembly of God in Alliance. She liked to crochet, and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Donald J. (Ella) Evers Jr. of Alliance, James L. (Cindy) Evers and Barbara J. Evers (Ray) Ott, both of Louisville, Carol A. Evers (David) Haynes of Massillon and Ronald R. (Linda) Evers of Alliance; and 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Donald James Evers Sr., who died February 22, 1976; second husband, Charles R. Winwood whom she married June 4, 1983 and who died October 13, 2003; five sisters; two brothers; and two daughters-in-law.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 6, 2015, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
