Ellen Marie Walborn Peters, age 50 of Alliance, died at 11:45 a.m. Jan. 23, 2006 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born in Alliance, Ohio to Dale and Patricia (Anderson) Walborn and was a lifelong resident.
Ellen graduated from Alliance High School and attended Mount Union College. She was employed as a Supervisor for CRI Electronics and received a business award for her participation in helping disadvantaged young adults.
Survivors include her mother, Patricia Walborn of Alliance, one son, Michael Christian (Eva) Peters of Alliance, one granddaughter, Samantha Peters, her companion of 20 years, Joseph M. Peters of Alliance; brothers, Bruce Walborn and Andrew Walborn, and sisters, Margaret Ash, Christine Walborn, and Nancy Walborn.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon Ruggles officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society, P.O. Box 7077, Canton, OH 44705.
