Elta M. Ringer

Elta M. Ringer, 90, of Sebring passed away at 8:10 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2016, at Copeland Oaks.
Elta was born August 3rd, 1925, in Louisville, Ohio, to Virgil and Hazel (Miller) Brown and had been a lifelong area resident.
She had worked for several years as a veterinarian's assistant for Doctor's Nixon and Cunningham. She had attended Marlboro High School and was a charter member of Beechwood Christian Church.
Elta leaves a grandson, Marvin (Cathy) Ringer of Massillon and a great-granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Ringer. She also leaves her special friends, Richard and Bonnie Miller of Sebring.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Galen Ringer whom she married November 8, 1942, and who died August 3, 2010; son, Marvin G. Ringer; sister, Kathryn Haren, and two brothers, Richard and Arthur Brown.
Services will be held at 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
