Eric A. Englehaupt, passed away to a new life, Sunday, April 19, 2009 following a several month illness.
He was born April 27, 1957 in Cleveland, to Russell and Nellie (Pittman) Englehaupt. He attended Perry High School and attended Stark State Technical College for Machining and Automotive Technology. He was employed with Kilbarger Construction Co. in Logan, Ohio, in the oil fields.
Eric is survived by his wife of 34 years, Bonnie J. (Asplin) Englehaupt of Alliance; four sons, Jason (Lianna) Englehaupt of Massillon, Joseph (Kyan) Englehaupt of Barberton, Jeremy Englehaupt of the home, daughter, Alicia Englehaupt and her fiance, Justin Maley of Alliance, and son, Michel Englehaupt of the home.
Eric is also survived by his mother, Nellie Englehaupt of Canton, sister, Veronica (Richard) Cain of Navarre, sister, Pamela Petros of Mogadore; two brothers, Kirk Englehaupt of Washington and Hans Englehaupt of Canton; several grandsons; and a granddaughter; all of whom he dearly loved.
He was preceded in death by his father, Russell and a sister, Kim Englehaupt.
Eric will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will leave a void and ache in our hearts and lives that will never be filled. Eric promised to keep the light on for us until the day that we all join him in coming home.
There will be no visitation. A private family service will be conducted by his family and friends.
