Erma V. (Antonosanti) DeMuth Horton, age 89, of Alliance, died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2011 at her home.
She was born June 30, 1922, in Alliance, Ohio, to Guy and Rose (Cataldi) Antonosanti.
Erma was a graduate of Alliance High School and was employed by the former McCaskey Register Co. as a bookkeeper.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheri Flugan of Alliance; son, Alan (Cathy) DeMuth of Homeworth; daughter, Jaeann DeMuth of Dearborn, MI; son, Eric (April) DeMuth of Beloit; daughter, Paula (Melvin) Russell of Atwater; brother, Thomas Antonosanti; daughter-in-law, Trisha DeMuth of Canton; her stepdaughter, Joyce Snider of Cuyahoga Falls, stepson, Richard (Winnie) Horton of Lawrenceville, GA; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Elliott of Bradenton, FL; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, George S. DeMuth whom she married June 1950 and who died July 1969; her second husband, Warren G. "Whitey" Horton, whom she married July 1976 and who died February 2007; son, Bryan DeMuth; one grandson, Robby Flugan; three brothers, Angelo, Joseph and Tony Antononsanti, and three sisters, Edith Aukerman and Mary and Anna Antononsanti.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. November 3, 2011, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Murphy and Pastor Paul Dykshoorn co-officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
