Ernest Matthew Cox

Ernest "Ernie" Matthew Cox, 27, of Alliance passed away on June 30, 2007.
An avid outdoorsman and enthusiast, Ernie loved spending as much time as possible enjoying nature. He had a passion for music, life and his family and friends. Ernie was a 1999 graduate of Marlington High School and was presently employed with Kokosing Construction in Dayton, Ohio.
Ernie was a source of constant love and joy to his family and friends. He is survived by his parents; Becky (Fred) Sines and Jim (Debbie) Cox of Alliance. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Jacob Cox of New York City, Sarah Cox of Cincinnati, Jeff (Maggie) Sines of West Virginia, Kim Sines of Arkansas, Taylor Cox of Alliance, Chris Clair of Alliance, Jenny Clair of Alliance, his maternal grandparents, Matt (Ruth) Thomas of Alliance, paternal grandmother Margaret Cosma of Alliance, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as the numerous friends whose lives he touched in countless ways. Ernie has left a void in the lives of all of us. He will be deeply missed and eternally loved.
His brother; John Sines, and his paternal grandparents; Russell (Novela) Cox preceded him in death.
A Memorial Service in Ernie's honor will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Mount Union Nature Center, 16146 Daniel St., Minerva with Pastor Dave Storlie of Southside Church of God officiating.
Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mount Union Nature Center, c/o Mount Union College, 1972 Clark Ave. Alliance, Ohio 44601.
