Ernest J. Kriner age 68 of Alliance died at Akron General Medical Center at 2:55 a.m. Thursday November 20, 2003.
He was born in Alliance on May 12, 1935 to James Wilbert and Iva Edna (Creighton) Kriner. A lifelong Alliance resident, Mr. Kriner attended Alliance Public Schools, and was employed by the former Kintz Construction Company and former Karpers Union 76 Service Station.
He was formerly a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Loyal Order of Moose.
Mr. Kriner is survived by his wife Mary Jane (Warner) Kriner, whom he married May 12, 1957, two daughters Debra Charleston of Alliance, Laura (Shawn) Bodendorfer of Alliance, two sons James (Cary) Kriner of Alliance and Terry Kriner of Alliance, five grandchildren Corrie and Kara Bezon, James A. Kriner, Sara and Matthew Charleston, two step-grandchildren Chantelle and Joshua Bodendorfer, two sisters Dorothy (Earl) Allcorn of Sebring and Corrine (Paul) Fisher of Beloit, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Jane Campbell.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Mark McCord of the First Church of God officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be in Fairmount Memorial Park.
