Esther Marguerite Henderson, age 101, died Jan. 10, 2006 at the Kingswood Nursing Home in Aberdeen, North Carolina.
She was born Dec. 19, 1904 in Hymera, Indiana to William Chauncey and Albertie (Barnard) Case, and lived most of her life in the Alliance area.
Mrs. Henderson attended Salineville High School, and was a member of First United Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Berdine (J. Robert) Swenson of Whispering Pines, North Carolina; one son, Dr. Miller L. Henderson of Whispering Pines, North Carolina; six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Homer R. Henderson, who died Sept. 24, 1995, whom she married March 19, 1923, one brother, and one great-granddaughter, Laura Swenson.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with the Rev. William Sadler officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Presbyterian Church, 425 E. Market St. Alliance, Ohio 44601.
