Ethel Beatrice Binion, age 77, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and formerly of Alliance, died at 12:30 p.m. June 22, 2006 at St. Clare Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.
She was born November 28, 1928 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to Wilford and Mary Lee (Russell) Boggs and lived most of her life in Alliance.
Mrs. Binion retired from Roselawn Nursing Home after working as a Nurses Aid. She attended the Carnation City Baptist Church and was a member of the American Legion Post 76, and the Sebring Auxiliary.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Ondreko of Alliance, Carla Chaney of Canton, Mary Coffey of Kentucky, six sons, Roger Binion and Willis Binion both of Alliance, Chester Binion of Homeworth, Charles Binion, Daniel Binion, and Warren Eugene Coffey all of Kentucky ; three step-daughters, one stepson, 21 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Jewel Holbrook of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Mary Bryant of Grahns, Kentucky and Sarah Quimby of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willis Binion, who died in 1967, and whom she married in 1955; two brothers, Willard and Ralph Boggs and sister Aileen Roar.
Services will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Monday with Pastor Jimmie Holbrook officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
