Ethel M. Bruderly, age 80, of Alliance, died at 11:31 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2008 at her home. She was born in Columbiana, Ohio, October 18, 1927 to Irvin M. and Delilah (Girard) Yaggi and was a lifelong area resident. Ethel was a graduate of Alliance High School. She was a member of the Bethel United Church of Christ and a member of the Elks Ladies Auxiliary #467 and the Mile Branch Grange. Survivors include her children, Dennis (Arlene) Bruderly, Del (Patty) Bruderly and Debbie (Gerry) Simons all of Alliance; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Hofer of Homeworth. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roland Bruderly, whom she married April 5, 1947 and who died May 28, 2000; sisters, Donna Swallow, Agnes Kertes and Mary Miller; two brothers, Leonard Yaggi and Dale Yaggi. Friends may call from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Monday. Informal visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Monday. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2008 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Monsignor John C. Finnigan of St. Peters Catholic Church officiating. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice.
