Eva E. Castello, age 89, died at 3:17 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born October, 12, 1917 in Alliance to Roy and Clara Siegfried Button and was a lifelong resident.
Mrs. Castello was a member of Beechwood Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Vida Kuntzman of the home; two step-sons Richard Castello of Alliance and Ronald Castello of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren; sister, Laura Chiporo of Alliance and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Castello whom she married Sept. 27, 1951 and who passed away March 19, 1975; two sons Roy and Chuck Mason; sister, Thelma and three brothers Harold, Henry and Everett. Services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Higle officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service.
Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
