Eva B. McMaster

Eva B. McMaster, age 90, of Georgia, formerly of Alliance, passed away at 3:15 a.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Marietta, Georgia. She was born December 23, 1922, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Jesse and Maude (Koch) Burdick. Eva was a graduate of Enid (Oklahoma) High School and a member of the N.W. Christian Church in Marietta, Georgia. She lived in Alliance from 1945 to 1981, Cuyahoga Falls from 1981 to 1991 and has resided in Georgia since 1991. Eva was employed at Oneil's Department Store in Alliance, managed a senior citizen's center in Cuyahoga Falls from 1985 to 1991, and was a motel manager for L&K Restaurant and Motel before moving to Georgia. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara (Randy) Byron of Acworth, GA; two sons, Ronald W. (Robin) McMaster of Louisville and Arthur McMaster, Jr. of Stow: grandchildren, James (Jennifer) McMaster, Christopher McMaster, Andrew McMaster, and Randol Byron; great-granddaughter, Makayla McMaster; and brother, Every Burdick of Enid, OK. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Arthur E. McMaster, whom she married August 25, 1943 and who died October 4, 1998; infant daughter, Mary Beth McMaster; five brothers, Elmer, Harold, Jesse, Richard and John Burdick; and two sisters, Mary Sims and Ruby Sparks. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Walter McNutt officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park immediately following. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, OH 44601.
