Eva Carol Spall, age 69, of Alliance, died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born December 25, 1939 in Martinsferry, Ohio to Paul and Irene (Eakins) Moore.
Eva was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Everyone loved her butter cookies as she was a renowned baker and a devout scrabble player. She retired in 2002 from Black Hawk Automotive in Salem.
Survivors include her daughter Shawna Spall of Alliance, daughter-in-law, Dena Moore of Alliance; grandchildren, Kristen Spall, Joe Moore, Courtney Moore, and Chelsea Moore, all of Alliance; sisters, Paula (Donald) Eakins of Sebring, Kay (David) Harden of Maple Heights and Bonnie Staggers of Alliance; brothers Jack (Garnet) Moore and Bill Moore, both of Alliance; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas H. Spall whom she married January 19, 1963 and who died in 1987; son, Paul "Joe" Moore; sister, Rae Burrier and brothers, Scott and David Moore.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009 at First Baptist Church, 1659 W. State St. Alliance, Ohio 44601 with Rev. Gordon Thomas officiating.
There will be no calling hours and Mrs. Spalls' cremains will be interred at a later date in the Limaville Cemetery.
