Alliance, died at 2:50 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2012, at her home.
She was born November 7, 1927, in Columbiana County, Ohio to Charles H. and Elizabeth V. (Kirk) Bell.
A 1946 graduate of Alliance High School, Evelyn worked for Manhatten Cleaners and A.M. Employee's Credit Union. A faithful member of Vine Street United Methodist Church, where she volunteered at their Swiss steak dinners for 17 years, she also volunteered at Alliance Community Hospital as a Pink Lady.
A loving mother, Evelyn will be missed by her family, which includes son, Randall E. (Debra) Deuvall, daughter, Deborah J. Hall, both of Alliance; four granddaughters, Stephanie (Jeremy) Ross of Louisville, Elizabeth Hall of Alliance, Melissa (Shawn) Molohon of Louisville, Kentucky and Jennifer (Denver) Lucas of Sebring; five great-grandchildren, Mia, Alexander, Zachary, Sophia, and William; three sisters, Vera Wehner of Alliance, Virginia (Ray) Ravelli of Florida and Beloit, and Helen (Bob) Warren of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence W. Deuvall, who she celebrated 63 years of marriage with before his death on April 3, 2010; son-in-law, Clifford W. Hall; brother, George W. Bell, and sister, Margaret Bell.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Vine St. United Methodist Church with Dr. David Bloor officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to DAV Chapter 50, P.O. Box 2483 Alliance, OH 44601, Vine St. United Methodist Church, 1544 W. Vine St., Alliance, OH 44601, or Alliance Visiting Nurse Hospice Association, 885 S. Sawburg Rd. Alliance OH 44601.
