Evelyn L Hahn

“Together Forever” -- Evelyn L. Hahn, age 93 of Alliance, passed away at 9:05 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Greenview Assisted Living in Uniontown, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

She was born July 3, 1928 in Tallmadge, Ohio, to Virgil Jacobs and Gertrude (Haines) Jacobs Waltenbaugh.

A 1946 graduate of Alliance High School, Evelyn attended the former Bolton Methodist Church.

She was a member of the former Alliance Woman’s Club, and enjoyed needlework and crafts, fishing in Canada, and was an avid bridge player for over 50 years.

She was loved and will be missed by her family, including her sons, Jeffery (Patty) Hahn, and B. Scott Hahn; her daughter, Leslie Hahn; two grandchildren, Andrea (Paul) Sullivan and Brint (Mona) Hahn; three great-granddaughters, Jackie, Payton and Abby Sullivan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack D. Hahn, whom she married September 26, 1948 and who died October 4, 1999; her step-father, Charles Waltenbaugh, her half-sister, Viola Rupp, and her half-brother, Ronald Jacobs.

A private memorial service will be held in the chapel at Marlboro Cemetery on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 4:00 p.m., interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
