Evelyn Nordquist

Evelyn M. Nordquist, age 79 of Minerva, died at 5:35 a.m. Friday January 14, 2005 at Community Care Center.
Mrs. Nordquist was born January 3, 1926 in Alliance, Ohio to Raymond and Thelma P. Mangus Boyd.
She graduated from Alliance High School and was employed as a shipping clerk at Alliance Manufacturing for 42 years, retiring on June 27, 1986.
Mrs. Nordquist was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in New Franklin. She was also a member of Genie Retirees and the New Franklin Senior Citizens.
Survivors include one sister, Nadine P. Zuch of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond D. Nordquist, whom she married July 13, 1946, and who died April 16, 1998, and one brother, Earl Boyd.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Nancy Bacon of St. John's Lutheran Church of New Franklin officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
