Evelyn K. (Leforte) Shank, of Canton, passed away at 3:15 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Compassionate Care of Canton.
She was born August 14, in Oceola Mills, PA, to Mary and James Leforte.
Evelyn was a strong, independent woman, who was always the epitome of a classy lady. She was deeply loved by her family and will be truly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah L. Shank and partner, TH Pan of Bethel CT; granddaughter, Heather L. Shank-Givens and spouse, Brian T. Andrews of Haymarket, VA; and sister-in-law, Ann Leforte of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert R Shank; daughter, Sandra K. Shank; brothers, Jim, George, Jack, Don, and Harold LeForte; and sister, Lois Kimmel.
Services will be held at a later date.
