Everett Rose, age 89, of Alliance died at 6:15 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Community Care Center.
He was born October 5, 1922, in Clairfield, Tennessee.
Everett attended school in Kentucky and was employed as a warehouse manager at Cope Furniture. He attended Pine Lake Christian Church, liked hunting, fishing, and gardening, especially growing tomatoes.
Everett was a United States Army Veteran having served in World War II.
Survivors include his son, Greg; granddaughter, Diana; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents; wife, Irene (Boughner) Rose who died September 10, 2011; and two brothers.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Palmer officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
