Faye (Rachel) Best, age 85, of Alliance, died at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007 at Aultman Hospital.
She was born November 24, 1921 in Alliance, Ohio to Harry M Sankey and Ethel M. (Matz) Sankey Dailey and was a lifelong resident.
Survivors include her sons, Gary L. Best of Bonita Springs, Fla. and Roger L. Best of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla, daughter Marcia L. Duro of Alliance; three granddaughters; Lisa Duro (Joseph) Negron, Mary Kay Best, Kelley Duro (Don) Wojtowicz, four great-grandchildren, two step great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Kenneth and Glenn Sankey.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Lewis officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
