Faye C. Zeigler, age 102, of Alliance, passed away at 2:50 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Bel-Air Care Center.
She was born November 3, 1908, in Lexington, Ohio, to Henry and Clara (Bowman) Leutzinger and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
Faye graduated from Alliance High School and Cleveland Business College.
She was a member of the Vine St. United Methodist Church, former member of United Steelworkers Retirees, Alliance Senior Citizens Center, Sebring Senior Citizens, AARP and a social member of the Dante Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Faye (Joseph A.) Pusateri of Alliance and Kathy (Jerry) Moore of Marietta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Joseph D. (Mary Lou) Pusateri, Jeffrey (Lou Jean) Pusateri, and Vicki (Otto) Thullner; five great-grandchildren, Amy Pusateri Myers, Becky (Paul) Barker, Robert (Allison) McManus, Angelina Pusateri (Shawn) Brown and Netti Pusateri; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, David H. Zeigler, whom she married September 6, 1930 and who died February 1970; three brothers; four sisters; and granddaughter, Debbie.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2011, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. David Bloor officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
