Fern Kuntze

Fern Dolores Kuntze, age 96, of Alliance, died at 1:06 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2008 at her home.
She was born July 23, 1911 in Limaville, Ohio to John C. and Hazel E. (Charlton) Kuntze.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Miss Kuntze worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for Transue and Williams Co. and with George Prince Insurance.
She was a former member of Vine St. United Methodist Church, a member of Otterbein Sunday School Class and Willing Workers. In addition to being the organist at the Atwater Congregational Church, Miss Kuntze taught organ and piano lessons.
Miss Kuntze is survived by her sister, Doris Kuntze of Alliance; cousin, David Charlton and cousin by marriage, Margaret Charlton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Witt of the Atwater Congregational Church officiating. No calling hours will be held. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
