Florence J. Tatu

Florence J. Tatu, age 75, of Alliance, died at 4:10 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Crandall Medical Center.
She was born June 16, 1936, in Bedford, Ohio, to John Tatu and Katherine (Olton) Tatu and has lived in Alliance since she was 5 years old.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Florence worked at Jay's Variety Store from 1972 to 1975, then Alliance Community Hospital in the housekeeping department until 1992.
She was a member of the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and Alliance Senior Citizens.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Katherine Mary Mazzei.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Alliance City Cemetery with Vicar Jacob Gawlik officiating. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
