Forrest L. Albright, age 91, of Sebring, died at 8:18 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2009 at Crandall Medical Center of Sebring.
He was born June 15, 1918 in Deerfield to Owen F. and Pearl S. (Stroup) Albright.
Forrest was a member of the Beechwood Christian Church, Akron Tadmor Temple, Alliance Shrine Club, and Scottish Rite of Canton. He was also a past master of the Homeworth Masonic Lodge, and charter member of Washington Ruritans and Mended Hearts of Alliance. His hobby was old cars, and he was a member of Olde Car Enthusiast.
He was owner/operator of Albright Electric for more than fifty years.
Forrest is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann (Meinzen) Albright, who he married June 15, 1940; his daughters, Sally Rodgers of Canton, Nancy (Larry) Shinn of Berea, KY, Kay (Phil) Burgi of Denver, CO, Carol (Lou) Mineweaser of Mt. Gilead, TN, and Mary (Tom) Swartz of Louisville; his sons, David (Kathy) Albright of Alliance and Don (Jo) Albright of Minerva; two sisters, Mary Heim of Salem and Erma Hull of Louisville; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Irene Brownsword and Nellie Wise; and infant twin brother and sister, Ray and May Albright.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Higle officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Masonic Services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
