Frances S. Fisher

Frances S. Fisher, age 99, of Alliance, died December 22, 2022 at Bel-Air Assisted Living.

She was born September 15, 1923, in Alliance, Ohio to Louis P. and Versebelle (Mickan) Strazi.

A graduate of Alliance High School and Canton Business College, Frances also attended Mount Union College.

She worked in accounting most of her life.

A member of First Baptist Church, Frances was an Emeritus member of the Diaconate Board, member of the Social Committee and Sunday School Teacher.

She was an avid bridge player, loved golfing and bowling; and was a huge sports enthusiast.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Davies; grandchildren, Christopher Gajdzik; granddaughter, Whitney (Ken) Kwok; Zachary (Mindy) Guildoo, and Lindsay (Phil) Rundquist; great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Jackson, Lincoln, and Aidan; sister, Lynette (Craig) Windland; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Fisher, brother, Virgil L. Strazi, and daughter, Roberta Gajdzik.

A Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, December 29th at First Baptist Church, Alliance.

Family and friends may call the hour prior to the service at the church.
