Frances Gottardi, age 88 of Homeworth, died at 3:35 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born November 26, 1921 in Bergholz, Ohio, to Stanley and Victoria (Ambrose) Evanosky.
Mrs. Gottardi was formerly employed at Fairmount Children's Home.
Frances is survived by her children, Helen Gottardi of Beloit, Charles (Roxann) Gottardi of Homeworth, Donna Jean (Gordon) Dawson of Charleston, IL, and Richard Gottardi of Homeworth; six grandchildren: Jason (Cathy Hennessey) Iwanesky of New York, NY; Sam Dawson of Chicago, IL; Henry Dawson of Charleston, IL; Louis Gottardi of Copley, OH; Kevin Gottardi of Homeworth, and Kate Gottardi of Richmond, VA; and one great-granddaughter, Anika Iwanesky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles A. Gottardi, whom she married Nov. 1947, and who died Dec. 9, 2006; one sister; and five brothers.
Private burial will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
