With her children prayerfully at her side, Frances A. Roesti, age 74, was called home into the loving, faithful arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at 3:20 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Altercare of Alliance.
She was born July 5, 1935, in Alliance to Joseph and Micheline (Danzo) Pusateri.
Frances was a graduate of Alliance High School. A former dental assistant for various dentists in the Alliance area, she was also employed with Sugar and Spice Bakery, was cafeteria manager at State St. School, and a cook at Alliance High School.
A lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, she was also a member of Mended Hearts. Frances was a dedicated mother, sister, and friend, and enjoyed spending time with her large family.
She is survived by her sons, John Jacob Roesti III of Lake Placid, Florida, and Michael J. Roesti of Beloit; three daughters, Marianne (Jim) May of Salem, Diana L. (Randy) Moore and Tricia M. (Lonny) Donohue, both of Alliance; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe (Faye) Pusateri of Alliance; two sisters, Phyllis Clark and Mitzi (Frank) DeGroff, both of Alliance; and a sister-in-law, Nancy (Allen) Moff of Atwater.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John J. "Jack" Roesti, Jr. whom she married February 11, 1956 and who died August 21, 2003; and a brother, Benjamin Pusateri.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2009 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Dykshorn of the Alliance Christian Center officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
