Frances M. Rohrer, age 82, of Alliance, died Thursday, August 4, 2011, at Community Care Center.
She was born March 4, 1929, in Warren, Ohio, to Edwin and Bertine (Huntley) Trott.
Frances was a graduate of Alliance High School and was employed at Alliance Elks Club and Sleepy Hollow Golf Course. She was a member of the Elks Auxiliary, enjoyed bowling, playing cards, following Mt. Union football, and was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland professional sports fan.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Rohrer, whom she married, December 19, 1948; three children, Edith L. (David) Kleinhans of Alliance, Andrew T. (Judy) Rohrer of Urbana and Steven L. (Shauna) Rohrer of Worland, Wyoming; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Barbara Alton.
A private service will be held at a later date.
