Frank G. Watts, age 85 of Wooster, and formerly of Alliance, died at 1:00 p.m. June 20, 2006 at Westview Manor Nursing Home in Wooster.
He was born March 19, 1921 in Sebring, Ohio to John and Rose (Gillespie) Watts and was an area resident most of his life.
Mr. Watts graduated from Alliance High School and received his Bachelor's degree in Theology from Anderson College. He also attended Mount Union College and Kent State University.
He taught at East Canton High School and Stafford High School in Monroe County, Ohio and retired in 1986 after working for the Maintenance Dept. at Mt. Union College after fifteen years.
Mr. Watts was a member of First Church of God, where he formerly taught Sunday school.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jane (Elliott) Watts of Wooster, whom he married Sept. 16, 1950; daughter Rosemary (Robert) Marren of Burbank, Ohio; son Mark David (Candy) Watts of Wooster; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Murphy officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
