Frank Albert Gatchell Sr., age 68 of Alliance, died at McCrea Manor Nursing Center at 1:50 a.m. March 2, 2006.
He was born Feb. 12, 1938 in Wellsburg, West Virginia to Frank Edward and Anna (Davis) Gatchell, and was a lifelong resident.
Frank retired from American Steel Foundries, and served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1960-1966.
He is survived by one son, Frank (Primrose) Gatchell Jr. of Alliance; two daughters, Christine Dorsey and her fianci�½e Dan Atwell of Alliance and Janet (Mahlon) Miller of Alliance; special friends, Shelly Allman and Tina McMasters; several grandchildren; and two sisters, Margaret and Leona, both of West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son Don; one brother Harvey and one sister Virginia.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Peters officiating.
