Frank Thomas Peshek

Frank Thomas Peshek, age 97, passed away on February 9, 2025. 

He was born on November 27, 1927 to Frank and Anna Peshek.

Frank was born and raised in Alliance. He proudly served in Germany during World War II where he met the love of his life, Herta. The two were married and shared 69 wonderful years together before her passing in 2017. After returning home, Frank worked at Transue and Williams in the forging department until his retirement. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Frank (Sandra) Peshek; daughter, Catherine (Edward) Teeters; grandchildren, René (Jody) Randolph, Ryan Peshek, and Angela Esporite; great-grandchildren, Alex Phillips, Benjamin Esporite, Kaitlyn Esporite and Todd Secrest; many nieces and nephews; and extended family in Germany. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Herta; and siblings, Leonard Peshek, Virginia Battey, Florence Hartzel, Dorothy Myler, Ruth Krahling, Robert Peshek, and Howard Peshek. 

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Friday, February 14th at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Pastor David Cannon will officiate. 

Interment with military honors will be held at Highland Memorial Park.
