Frank E. Wainuskis Jr., age 74 of Alliance, died at 8:19 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006 at Community Care Center.
He was born Dec. 31, 1931 in Alliance to Frank E. and Emma (Brunner) Wainuskis Sr. and was a lifelong resident.
Frank graduated from Alliance High School and retired from American Steel Foundries after 38 years as a pipe fitter in the maintenance dept. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Survivors include one daughter, Vicki (Benny) Alvarado of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four sons, Larry Wainuskis, Frank Wainuskis, Mark (Sally) Wainuskis, and Terry (Leona) Wainuskis, all of Alliance; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister June Ann (Jerry) Kessler of Alliance and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Gail Lynn Wainuskis, one son, Gary Allen Wainuskis, and his wife, Della L. (Wiles) Wainuskis, who died May 28, 2006 and whom he married Aug. 24, 1951.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday at the Mainwaring Chapel at Alliance City Cemetery with Pastor Paul Dykshoorn officiating. Interment will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
