Frank Charles Howard Webb, age 85, of Alliance, passed away at 5:15 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at McCrea Manor.
He was born November 16, 1932 in Alliance, Ohio to Frank Arthur and Alice (Frank) Webb.
Frank worked in the forging department at Transue and Williams until retiring.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where he was a member of the choir, and served on the property committee for 20 years.
U. S. Army veteran during the Korean Conflict, Frank was the past commander of the American Legion Post 166; past commander of the VFW Post 1036; and member of the honor guard for many years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cutting his yard with his John Deere tractor.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Roberta (Ruff) Webb, whom he married June 22, 1952; sons, Jeffrey (Norita) Webb, of Alliance, Craig Webb of Canton, Frank Webb of Alliance, and Jerry Webb, of Alliance; grandchildren, Austin and Jarrod.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Hilda Wheatley, Florence "Betty" Monico, and Hazel Webb, and brother, Kenneth "Bud" Webb.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Timothy Muse officiating.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
