Fredrick O. Rumsey, Sr. age 69, of Beloit, died at 10:38 p.m. Monday Feb. 4, 2008 at his home.
He was born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania to Thomas and Hannah Davis Rumsey.
Fredrick graduated in 1957 from Coraopolis High School in Pennsylvania.
He was a member of Maximo Zion Church. He retired in 2000 from the Hunt Valve Co., in Salem where he had been employed since March of 1963. He was also employed at CTM Labeling Systems from 2000 to 2007.
Fredrick is survived by his wife, Arla Jean Wuthrick Rumsey, whom he married September 5, 1959; children, Theresa Rumsey of Salem, Thomas (Lori) Rumsey of Alliance, Fredrick O. (Lori) Rumsey, Jr. of Salem; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Private family services will be held. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery.
