Gary F. Bourne, Sr. age 74, of Alliance, died at 2:52 p.m., Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born May 18, 1938, in Alliance, Ohio, to Floyd and Harriet (Frost) Bourne.
Gary was a 1956 graduate of Alliance High School and worked as a machinist at Alliance Machine for 40 years.
His hobbies included going hunting, fishing and camping.
Survivors include his wife, Alice (Laughlin) Bourne of Alliance, whom he married October 25, 1959; children, Lori Bourne Chesser of Jefferson, GA, Randy S. (Brenda) Bourne of Louisville and Gary "Chip" Bourne, Jr. of Jefferson, GA; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce (Richard) Lamp, Arlene (Jack) Slavin of New Port Richey, Fla.; brothers, Richard (Carol) Bourne and Bruce (Mary Jo) Bourne, both of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; infant twin brother, Eugene; sister-in-law, Leslie Bourne and brother-in-law, William Clapsaddle.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Pam Bruno officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
