Gary L. Stoudt, age 60, of Louisville, passed away suddenly at 8:15 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center.
He was born July 2, 1952, in Alliance, to Roger and Delores Marie (Kolm) Stoudt.
Gary was a 1970 graduate of Marlington High School and former co-owner of Stoudt Tree Service. He was previously employed as a ground supervisor at the Alliance Country Club for 28 years and for Mikes Tree Service. He currently worked at Kolm's Dairy Farm.
He was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church. He liked deer hunting, fishing and loved NASCAR and enjoyed restoring Mustang cars.
Gary was a veteran of the United States Army Reserve.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce (Rice) Stoudt, of Louisville, whom he married November 11, 1978; his parents of Homeworth; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin G. Stoudt.
Gary will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2013, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with The Rev. Timothy Muse officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
