Gary Edward Wolf, age 70, of Sebring, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at his home.
He was born October 8, 1947, in Friendsville, Maryland, to Hayden and Ruth (Riley) Wolf and has resided in the Sebring area since 1996.
A graduate of West High School in Cleveland, Ohio, he also attended Paris Jr. College in Paris, Texas.
Gary was employed by Meridian Condos and a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Sebring. He also belonged to both the Alliance and Sebring VFW's.
He enjoyed reading his bible, playing his guitar with his mom and singing gospel songs. Also, Gary was a very handy person who enjoyed working outside, camping and fishing.
A veteran of the United States Navy, Gary had served in Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann (Haun) Wolf of Sebring; grand-daughters, Christina Maynard, and Sarah and Tiera Negron; four great-grandchildren; and a niece, Kim Kinney.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Mikesell officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
