Gene Patterson, age 88 of Alliance, died at 11:33 a.m. Monday April 11, 2005 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born April 4, 1917 in Peru, Indiana to Charles J. and Josephine (McKee) Patterson and lived in Alliance for over fifty years.
Mr. Patterson graduated from Peru High School and attended Ball State and Indiana Universities.
He was formerly employed by Royal China Company as a Ceramic Artist. He enjoyed painting, music, and was an avid reader.
Survivors include one daughter, Saundra (Joseph) Castellucci of Alliance, two grandsons, Chris of Kansas City, Kansas and Ben of Wooster, Ohio, and one nephew, Charles Henderson of Salem.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charles Jr., one sister, Lucille Henderson, and one infant granddaughter.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
