Geneva L. 'Genny' Brown, age 66 of Alliance, died at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at McCrea Manor Nursing Center.
She was born Oct. 28, 1939 in Amonate, Virginia to Hugh and Louise (Ingrain) Cundiff and lived most of her life in this area.
A graduate of Amonate High School, Genny enjoyed playing bingo and baking cakes.
Mrs. Brown is survived by two sons, Michael E. Brown of Bridgeport Connecticut, and Anthony R. Brown of Alliance; one daughter, Chevette D. Brown of Alliance; three grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Cundiff of Canton, and Curt Cundiff of Akron; four sisters, Nadine Jenkins of Youngstown, Imogene Cundiff of Cleveland, Margaret Bellamy of Cleveland, and Violet Millner of Alliance; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Dora Board of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
Graveside Services will be held in the Mainwaring Chapel at Alliance City Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Monday July 17th officiated by Charles Millner.
Following the service, friends will be received at the home of Dora Board at 2045 S. Linden Ave. for a memorial luncheon.
