George D. Solomon, age 58, of North Benton, passed away at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
He was born August 16, 1951 in Alliance, to George D. and Alice A. (Bositis) Solomon.
A 1969 graduate of Alliance High School, George was a woodsmen and craftsman. He enjoyed woodworking, and was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife, Trina J. (Kimes) Solomon whom he married, February 1, 1983; his three children, George W. (Nicole) Solomon and Sommer R. Solomon, both of Cleveland and Melissa L. Solomon of the home; two grandchildren, Alexandria N. and George W.; one sister, Kay Solomon Streblo of N. Benton; two brothers, Bob Solomon and Dave Solomon, both of Alliance; and a niece, Christine Williams Nichols of N. Benton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Dorothy Solomon.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
