Geraldine R. Baughman

Geraldine Ruth (Sellers) Baughman, age 90, of Alliance, passed away at 8:37 a.m., Monday, August 31, 2015, at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born July 2, 1925, in Alliance, Ohio, to Howell and May (Cobb) Sellers and lived in Alliance all her life.
Geraldine graduated from Alliance High School in the class of 1943. She was a former employee of Babcock and Wilcox Tubular Products and also worked for her family at Sellers Greenhouse and Flowers.
She was a member of the Beechwood United Methodist Church, the Alliance Senior Center and the Alliance Country Club. She enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include her daughter, Beverly (Michel) DazeI� of Fairfax, Va.; son, Robert (Rhonda) Baughman of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Matthew and Jordan DazeI� and Casey and Corey (Kelley) Baughman; great-grandchildren, CoraBelle and Jonah; brother, Ronald (LaDene) Sellers of Salt Lake City Utah; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul J. Baughman whom she married April 27, 1947 and who died October 31, 2008; sister, Evelyn Gerber; and brother, Kenneth Sellers.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2015, at Beechwood United Methodist Church with Pastor Bob Miller officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Beechwood Cemetery.
