Geraldine Royer Jenkins, age 92, of Alliance, passed away at 7:05 a.m., April 8, 2010 at Canterbury Villa.
She was born June 12, 1917, in Grafton, West Virginia to Ora and Grace Edith (Jacobs) Bennett and has resided in the Alliance vicinity for 80 years.
Mrs. Jenkins was a graduate of Lake High School in Hartville and for many years served as a Sunday School Teacher.
Geraldine was a member of the Southside Church of God. She worked at Acme Click for 32 years and loved gardening.
Survivors include her son, Dale A. (Shirley) Royer of Columbus; daughters, Juanita Sue (Roland) Weisel of North Canton and Laura Jean (Jim) Keeling of Alliance; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one special great great-grandson, Tommy Kritz III.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd Royer; second husband, Thomas Jenkins; three brothers; and three sisters.
Per Mrs. Jenkins request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service, with dinner to follow, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 20th, at the Southside Church of God, 1520 Sawburg Rd., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Southside Church of God, 1520 Sawburg Road, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
