Geraldine Linder, age 93, of Hendersonville N.C., formerly of Alliance, passed away Wednesday January 8, 2014.
She was born November 20, 1920, in Louisville Ohio to Frank and Mary (Vesseriat) Wey.
She was a member of the St Ann's Catholic Church in Sebring St. Ann's Women's Club, DAV Auxiliary, and the Alliance Senior Center.
Survivors include her daughters, Janice King of Charlotte, NC, and Karen Brown of Hendersonville, NC; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Linder, whom she married July 3, 1942, and who died February 2, 1999; six brothers, and one sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2014 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Sebring with Fr. Joseph Witmer officiating. Friends may call from 9-10 a.m. at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
