Geraldine "Gerri" Perry, age 83, of Alliance, died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born April 9, 1928, in Alliance, to Ralph and Ruth (Miller) Oyster.
Gerri was a 1947 graduate of Alliance High School. She was a member of the Union Avenue United Methodist Church and the Mile Branch Grange.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and traveling. She resided in Luxembourg for two years.
Gerri is survived by her daughters, Susanne (Brian) Jeffers of Medina, Pam Hull of Westerville and Lisa (Mark) Bufkin of St. Cloud, Fla.; six grandchildren, Dan (Cindy) Hull, Adam (Sara) Hull, Matt Hull, Stephanie Hull, Sarah Bufkin and Jamie Bufkin; sisters, Eleanor (Russ) Addison of Bradenton, Fla. and Mary Jo (Marvin) Dye of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clemmer V. Perry whom she married April 12, 1957 and who died February 20, 2003; and a brother, James (Genevieve) Oyster.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park
