Geraldine Weibush

Geraldine "Jerry" Weibush, age 78, of Alliance, died at 8:15 p.m.Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Alliance Community Hospital with her loving family at her side. She was born May 27, 1929 in Alliance to Salvadore and Mary (Viggano) Castiglione. Geraldine was a 1947 graduate of Alliance High School. She was employed as a secretary at Art's Jewelers and later at Alliance Manufacturing. She attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church, was a former member of Alliance Woman's Club and member of BPOE #467 Auxillary. Survivors include daughter, Karen (Mark) Locke and grandchildren, Duane and Jennifer Locke of Alliance; sister, Beatrice Schreckengost of Ogdin, Ut.; step brothers, Cam Galieti of Sepulveda Ca., Val Galieti of Canfield, Oh., and Spart Galieti of Northridge Ca.; step sisters, Louise Smith of Traverse City, Mi., Helen Connolly of Granada Hills, Ca. and Christina (Dolly) LeHigh of Reno, Nv. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Robert "Bob" Weibush, whom she married April, 17, 1948 and who died October 5, 2004; and brothers, Carl Castiglione and Larry Case. Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to the donor's choice. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, Alliance, Ohio.
