Gladys F. Ingham

Gladys F. (Schoeppler) Ingham, age 94, of Beloit, passed away at 8:35 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2016, at her home.
She was born June 20, 1921, in Brooklyn, New York, to John and Jennie (Grevers) Schoeppler and has lived in the vicinity since World War II.
A graduate of Lynbrook High School, in New York, she had worked for West Branch Schools for 24 years as secretary to Mr. Scott and superintendent Clinton Hancock and Lynn King. She retired in 1983.
A member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Gladys had enjoyed her friends and their bridge clubs.
Survivors include her son, James "Skeet" Ingham of Sebring; daughter, JoAnne (Cliff) Kehr of North Canton; grandsons, Douglas (Sarah and her son, Kyle) Kehr of Cuyahoga Falls and Steven (Adrienne) Kehr of North Canton; sister, Dorthy Williams of Garden City Park, New York; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, William J. Ingham, who died December 1995; sister, Kathleen; and two brothers, Robert and Stuart.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2016, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. James K. McCurdy officiating. Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
