Gladys Zeigler

Gladys N. Zeigler, age 94, of Alliance, formerly of New Franklin, died at 9:15 a.m. July 25, 2007 at Community Care Center.
She was born Feb. 11, 1913 in Homeworth, Ohio to Perry and Nettie (Reed) Risden and was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Zeigler attended Alliance public schools and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in New Franklin.
Survivors include daughter Sheryl Zeigler (Jesse Mettler) of Alliance; son, Douglas (Becky) Zeigler of Atwater; grandchildren, Greg (Allyson) Horner, Lisa Hill, Jill Nichols, Brent (Laura) Zeigler, Marla (Mark) Stich, Michael Muratore and Melanie Muratore; great-grandchildren, Drew, Tyler, Brittani, Darren, Alisha, Brooklyn and Owen; and great-great granddaughter Bri'onna.
Mrs. Zeigler was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul L. Zeigler whom she married December 24, 1929 and who died May 4, 1996; daughter and son-in-law Dauris and Bill Horner and great-granddaughter Carly.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m Friday at Cassaday Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Ertl officiating. Friends may call from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Friday. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
