Glenn A. Aufrance, age 81 of Homeworth, died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring.
He was born June 1, 1925 in Homeworth, Ohio to Elmer E. and Gladys (Nichol) Aufrance and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Aufrance graduated from Minerva High School in 1943 and was a farmer and meat packer.
He was a birth right member of the Alliance Evangelical Friends Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lola (Binkley) Aufrance whom he married March 20, 1948; children Peggy (Lyle) Whiteman of Gate, OK, David (Cindy) Aufrance of Hong Kong, Carol (Allen) Richardson of Cuyahoga Falls, and Jean (Dan) Hanny of North Canton; grandchildren Danny (Raylea) Whiteman, Jeff (Lisa) Whiteman, Mark (Nancy) Whiteman, Rebecca (Ace) Trask, Joshua Aufrance, Allen (Megan) Richardson, David Richardson, Kara, Kate, and Kindsey Hanny; 5 great grandchildren; siblings Ralph (Ruth Ann) Aufrance of Scottsdale, AZ, Wilma (Howard) Jacob of Port Orange, FL, Gerald (Jean) Aufrance of Homeworth and Marilyn (Jim) Linger of Port Orange, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Alliance Evangelical Friends Church with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home and one hour prior at the church. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
